Pressure vacuum release valve 308/508, suitable for the top of the ash storage, in the ash storage intake, exhaust overpressure and abnormal temperature changes, to protect the ash storage from excessive positive pressure and negative pressure, is an essential protection device for ash storage.
Working principle:
1), stationary position (when sealed) :
When the pressure inside the silo (or ash bin) is maintained within the selected pressure value of the valve, the valve cover remains in the static position. The pressure in the silo (or ash reservoir) creates a force on the top surface of the flexible diaphragm (part 6) that closely contacts the diaphragm against the seat (part 1), thus achieving a seal.
2), pressure release:
When the silo pressure increases to the selected pressure value of the valve, the pressure in the silo overcomes the weight of the valve cover (part 4), lifts the valve cover from the seat, and at the same time, the pressure is discharged until the internal pressure of the silo (or ash warehouse) drops to the same pressure value as the selected valve, and the valve cover returns to the normal position.
3), vacuum release:
When the silo pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure, a vacuum is generated in the silo (or ash warehouse). When it is lowered to the selected vacuum value of the valve, due to the atmospheric pressure acting on the diaphragm, the vacuum ring is lifted to the floating position, and the air enters the silo at this time. Until the vacuum value in the silo is less than the selected value, the vacuum ring returns to the normal position and leans against the diaphragm.
