I. Overview:

The main feature of the open spherical gate valve ZQ36CR is that the ball is composed of three pieces, called the combined ball, the middle piece is a wedge cone, there are 5° inclined planes on both sides, and the iron has a dovetail groove on the inclined plane. Each side of the combined ball has a spherical valve disc, referred to as the ball disc, the spherical surface is the sealing surface, the ball disc and the wedge cone joint also has a dovetail groove, they cooperate with each other. The wedge cone can be driven by the valve stem and can be moved up and down or rotated. The upper and lower parts of the ball flap are limited by the positioning ring and the adjusting pad respectively, which can not rise or fall with the wedge cone, but can only slide relative along the dovetail groove, translate in the horizontal direction or rotate with the wedge cone. The lower end of the valve stem is integrated with the wedge cone through the thread and shaft pin, and the upper trapezoidal thread is matched with the valve stem nut. The rotation of the valve stem nut is driven by the hand wheel, bevel gear head or electric head or pneumatic head. There is a track pin in the middle of the valve stem, and each end of the pin is equipped with a roller, which can roll in the guide groove of the support, and the movement track of the valve stem is limited by the guide groove.

When the valve needs to be closed, turn the hand wheel clockwise to drive the valve stem nut to rotate, the valve stem nut to drive the valve stem and wedge cone to rotate 90°, and then move down the axis, the ball disc also rotates 90° with the wedge cone to the valve close position, and then shifts to both sides to support the valve body sealing surface to achieve valve close. When the valve needs to be opened, the counterclockwise rotation of the handwheel, through the valve stem nut and valve stem, drive the wedge cone to rise, so that the ball disc to the middle, out of the valve body sealing surface, and then the wedge cone with the ball disc rotation 90 degrees, the valve will be opened.

Second, the structure principle:

1. When closed, there is no relative friction between the ball flap and the valve body sealing surface, good sealing performance, long service life, and the average life is several times to dozens of times higher than the gate valve.

2. Large flow area, small flow resistance, high sealing hardness.

3. Valve body and ball sealing surface can be surfacing or sprayed with high hardness, corrosion resistant alloy material, can be applied to high temperature, high pressure, low temperature and strong corrosion medium pipelines, its function can replace the gate valve.

4. The valve opening and closing torque is small, only one half to one third of the gate valve. The opening and closing time is short, only one-fifth to one-tenth of the gate valve, and rapid closing can be achieved.

3. Advantages:

The ball valve is opened at the bottom of the drain hole, after closing the valve, the dirt in the body cavity can be excreted, if necessary, from the blow outlet, the dirt in the body cavity due to the role of the compact sphere and the guide rail, the sealing pair is separated when opened, and there is no wear between the pair

The propped spherical gate valve comprises a valve body, a valve cover, a support, a valve stem and a gate plate. The valve stem is connected with the gate plate in the valve body. The gate plate is composed of a wedge cone and a spherical valve disc connected by a dovetail groove on both sides of the wedge cone. The limiting ring and the limiting disc are arranged on the upper and lower sides of the wedge cone respectively. The two ends of the transverse pin are provided with rollers, which are matched with continuous chutes and spiral guide grooves on both sides of the wall of the support. The utility model overcomes the defects of large moving distance of the gate plate, long opening and closing time and fast wear of the sealing surface when the gate valve is opened and closed, and has the advantages of fast opening and closing speed, no relative friction between the sealing pairs, easy operation and long service life. According to the measurement, the opening and closing time of the gate valve is only one-fifth to one-tenth of that of the ordinary gate valve of the same specification.
