When negative pressure is generated in the pipe, the valve quickly inhales the outside air to prevent the pipeline from being damaged due to negative pressure.
When the tube begins to fill the water, the valve flap is in the open position, a lot of exhaust, when the air is discharged, the valve is filled with water, the float rises and drives the valve flap to close, stop the exhaust, when the water in the tube is normally transported, if there is a small amount of air gathered in the valve to a considerable extent, the water level in the valve drops, the float ball then drops, at this time the air is discharged by the small hole. When the pump stops, the water flow in the tube is empty or negative pressure is generated in the tube, and the plug head is quickly opened to inhale air to ensure the safety of the pipeline.

Principle of action

When there is a gas overflow in the system, the gas will climb up the pipe and eventually gather at the highest point of the system, and the exhaust valve is generally installed at the highest point of the system, when the gas enters the exhaust valve chamber and gathers at the upper part of the exhaust valve, with the increase of the gas in the valve, the pressure rises, when the gas pressure is greater than the system pressure, the gas will make the water surface in the chamber drop, and the float will drop with the water level. Open the exhaust port; After the gas is drained and the water level rises, the buoy rises with it, close the exhaust port. The same reason, when the system produces negative pressure, the water level in the valve chamber drops, the exhaust port opens, because the external atmospheric pressure is larger than the system pressure at this time, the atmosphere will enter the system through the exhaust port to prevent the harm of negative pressure. Such as tightening the valve cap on the exhaust valve body, the exhaust valve stops venting, usually, the valve cap should be in the open state. The exhaust valve can also be used with the partition valve to facilitate the maintenance of the exhaust valve. [1]

How it Works
