A49H main safety valve overview

A49H main safety valve is mainly used in power plant boilers, pressure vessels, temperature and pressure reduction devices, to prevent the pressure from exceeding the maximum allowable pressure value, to ensure the safe operation of equipment. When the medium pressure rises to the setting pressure, the impulse safety valve opens, the medium enters the piston chamber of the main safety valve from the pulse tube, pushes the piston down, so that the valve automatically opens, when the impulse valve is closed, the valve disc automatically closes. The sealing surface is made of cobalt-based chromium-nickel stainless steel surfacing, and the valve flap has been heat treated to improve the wear resistance and erosion resistance.

Main safety valve installation instructions

1, the valve must be installed vertically in the highest position of the equipment.
2, the main safety valve is fastened on the support, and the support bears the reverse seating force generated by the main safety valve exhaust steam.
3, exhaust pipe should have a special hanger, exhaust pipe weight shall not be added to the main safety valve, the connection flange between the main safety valve and exhaust pipe should eliminate any additional prestress.
4, the lowest point of the exhaust pipe should be considered drainage, so as not to produce water hammer when exhaust steam.
