Overview:

The opening and closing part of the Angle globe valve is a plug shaped valve disc, the sealing surface is flat or cone, and the valve disc moves in a straight line along the center line of the fluid. The movement form of the valve stem, there are lifting rod type (the valve stem lifting, the handwheel does not lift), there are also lifting rotary rod type (the handwheel and the valve stem rotating lifting together, the nut is set on the valve body). The globe valve is only suitable for full opening and full closing, and is not allowed to be adjusted and throttled.
Angle type globe valve is a forced sealed valve, pressure model PN16~PN250,150LB-2500LB is suitable for pressure 1.6~25MPa/2.0-42.0MPa working temperature -29~+570ºC petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, power industry and other working conditions of the pipeline, The applicable medium is water, oil, steam, acid medium and so on. Therefore, when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium enters the valve six from below the valve disc, the resistance that the operating force needs to overcome is the friction force of the valve stem and the filler and the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force of closing the valve is larger than that of opening the valve, so the diameter of the valve stem should be large, otherwise the valve stem top bending failure will occur. In recent years, after the appearance of the self-sealing valve, the flow of the medium of the globe valve is changed from the top of the valve disc into the valve chamber, then under the action of the medium pressure, the force of closing the valve is small, and the force of opening the valve is large, and the diameter of the valve stem can be reduced accordingly. At the same time, under the action of the medium, this form of valve is also more tight. The "three kinds of valves" in our country once stipulated that the flow direction of the stop valve should be top-down.
When the globe valve is opened, the opening height of the valve flap is 25% ~ 30% of the nominal diameter, and the flow rate has reached the maximum, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. Therefore, the full open position of the globe valve should be determined by the stroke of the valve disc.
