How it works

ZP1 type horizontal automatic exhaust valve When the water supply pipe is opened, the compound exhaust valve piston or float stays in the open position for a large amount of exhaust. When the air is discharged, water is accumulated in the valve, the float is floated, and the piston or float is moved to the closed position to stop a large amount of exhaust. When the water in the pipe is normally transported, if a small amount of air gathers in the exhaust valve to a considerable extent, the water level in the valve drops, and the float ball drops accordingly, at this time, a small amount of air is discharged by the micro exhaust hole, or by the automatic exhaust valve hole. When the pump stops, when the water in the pipe is empty or when there is negative pressure, the piston quickly opens and inhales air to ensure the safety of the pipeline.
 

 

Precautions

1. The location choice of the exhaust valve is more important than the diameter choice.

2. For long distance pipe wire, the ideal exhaust method is to install a larger number of exhaust valves with smaller diameters within a shorter distance (generally 500~1000m), rather than install a larger diameter but a smaller number of exhaust valves with long intervals.

3. In most cases, it is required to install small-capacity automatic exhaust, large-capacity system water exhaust and system vacuum destruction three-function group valves, that is, compound exhaust valves.

4. When there are different slopes on both sides of the pipeline, determine the size of the exhaust valve according to the demanding slope.

5. If the exhaust valve without slow closure is selected, it is best to install a large and a small two discharge valves in one place. If the exhaust valve with slow closure is selected, only one can be installed at the top of the pipe. If the pipe is undulating, the exhaust valve should be installed at each high point.
 

 

Construction and installation

Before installation of ZP1 horizontal automatic exhaust valve, check whether there are stones, branches and other debris in the main body and pipeline, and clean up. Install a gate valve or ball valve (not recommended to install butterfly valve) in front of the exhaust valve to facilitate maintenance. If the field installation space allows, it is recommended to install a buffer plug valve between the exhaust valve and the gate valve (ball valve). Especially when the exhaust valve is used in the pipeline where the pump is frequently started or where water is not allowed to be discharged, this configuration can extend the service life of the exhaust valve and greatly reduce the water flow out when the pump is started. If the exhaust valve is installed in the manhole, the manhole should not be too small, and there should be enough space to accommodate the adjustment and maintenance of technical personnel.
An important point: the exhaust valve should be located at the highest point of the horizontal pipeline, the top of the riser.
 

 

Common breakdowns

1. The displacement volume is small, and the original water supply capacity can be restored long after the water is stopped; Exhaust management is restored to normal water supply capacity in a very short time.

2. The air closing pressure indicates the upper limit of the exhaust valve exhaust capacity. The exhaust capacity of the exhaust valve is not only related to the caliber of the valve, but also related to the gas pressure difference inside and outside the valve.

3. Water closing pressure range part of the exhaust valve device is located at the highest point of the pipeline, because the water pressure in the pipe at this point is sometimes very low, part of the exhaust valve needs water pressure higher than 0.015MPa to be completely closed, if below this pressure will produce leakage phenomenon, so the larger the water closing pressure range, the better, generally 0.012~1.0MPa is the most commonly used range.

4. Exhaust valve parameters When selecting the exhaust valve, be sure to provide the manufacturer with pipe diameter, maximum working pressure, maximum flow and other parameters. According to these parameters, determine the diameter of the exhaust valve and the aperture of the exhaust hole to ensure that under normal circumstances, the clean water containing about 2% of dissolved air can be excluded in the continuous release.
 

 

Routine maintenance

If the exhaust valve is leaking, check whether there is foreign matter between the piston and the rubber sealing ring. If the rubber sealing ring is broken, replace the rubber sealing ring. If the ambient temperature of the exhaust valve is lower than O ° C, especially in the northern cold area, please strictly pay attention to the insulation of the valve. When not used for a long time, please discharge the water in the valve body to prevent the water in the valve from freezing or freezing the valve. If the exhaust valve is broken and needs to be replaced or repaired, the gate valve must be closed first. After reinstallation, you must turn off the pump, open the gate valve, and start the pump again to protect the exhaust valve.
